SamenMeer Supports Elderly Activities

In Landsmeer, the organization SamenMeer finances activities for the elderly through vitrine sales. Nel Klaasse Bos, Magda Rijbroek, and Diny Vletter, who manage this, are delighted to have raised €2,000. However, they are now in need of new items.

New Supplies Needed

The ladies, along with Fred, are hoping for new donations to keep the initiative going.

Vitrine Sale Becomes a Hit

The vitrine sale has become a popular event in Landsmeer, attracting not only regular supporters of SamenMeer but also new visitors. The selection includes jewelry, kitchenware, decorative items, and glassware, with occasional surprises like a designer lamp from Sweden at an affordable price.

Successful Fundraising Efforts

Last year, the initiative saw a significant turnout, particularly during December, possibly due to the search for unique holiday gifts. This led to achieving their target of raising €2,000 by December 31.

Donating Guidelines

The enthusiastic team is eager for donations of clean and intact items that can fit in the display cabinet. Items such as clothing, books, and shoes are not accepted, but 'filled old socks' are a humorous exception according to Fred. To donate, contact Diny Vletter at tel. 020-4824846.
